Christmas by Fatima Stansell

🎄 “A Reading Christmas” 📚

(By: Fatima Stansell)

In the glow of twinkling lights,

Where warm hearts come to meet,

We gather round this table now—

Good food, good laughs, good seats.

But before we lift our forks tonight,

Let’s take a moment here,

To share a story wrapped in love,

A gift of holiday cheer.

For books are little snowflakes—

Each one a magical start,

They fall upon our busy lives

And melt into the heart.

They teach us how to hope again,

They show us how to dream,

They turn a winter night of chill

Into a warm and glowing scene.

So here’s to pages turned with joy,

To stories old and new,

To chapters full of kindness

And traditions we hold true.

May your holiday be lifted

By the tales you choose to read—

For literacy is the greatest gift,

A present every soul can need.

Merry Christmas, dear sisters,

May your hearts stay brave and bright—

And may your stories guide you gently

Through this season’s star-filled night.
